Besides its magnificent natural attractions, the site Les Sept-Chutes also possesses a rich and unique heritage. Les Sept-Chutes power plant is one of the oldest hydroelectric facilities in Quebec. It was built in 1916, and became the property of Hydro-Quebec in 1963. Visit the impressive infrastructures that are the power plant and its dam .

The construction of the hydroelectric station brought numerous immigrant workers to the region. Discover the traces of this occupation by visiting the Historical Village situated right in the heart of the site.
